Celebrate Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday. Join Smokey in learning about wildfire prevention and the environment. Read books, take action, and have fun! And remember…only you can prevent wildfires.
How to Participate
- Who: Challenge is geared for parents of children, ages 4 to 10, but all ages are welcome. Only parents or guardians may fill out the form below to access the digital toolkit. (Now closed)
- When: January 1 through November 28, 2024.
- How to Sign Up: Ask your local librarian or get started by downloading the printable challenge log. You can also check out Smokey’s Reading List.
- Have Fun: Read books about wildfire and the environment, take action, receive prizes, and help Smokey!
